Minimal elegance

The interior of Wilton Street reveals a story with both traditional and modern chapters. While the front part of the house has been restored to its Georgian heritage, the rear of the building has been entirely reconstructed and is thoroughly contemporary in both layout and material detail.

Central to the renovations was the creation of a new staircase, linking the ground-floor kitchen and lower-ground family room. In creating the stairwell, daylight now floods into these lower levels, making a decisive design statement. The seamless, bevel-edged marble steps feature LED lighting within each tread and a frameless glass balustrade.
